Tip: Scale Graph Paper

Hi all,

I just found a site that lets me print graph paper in HO scale feet (well can be any scale but I need HO scale).

I do hand drawn plans and having graph paper with scale 1 foot HO squares makes drawing plans that much easier.

This site lets you enter parameters, then generates a pdf file that can be printed on a laser printer to create your custom graph paper.

Just divide the scale you model in by twelve and enter that number for squares per inch. For example in HO scale 87/12 = 7.25, it lets you enter decimal places for squares per inch, thus giving you perfect graph paper.

O scale is 4 squares per inch, Nscale is 13.33 squares per inch.

On my printer the the grid on the printed paper exactly matches my HO scale ruler.

Just thought I would share what was very useful for me and hopefully for you too.

Thanks

Cool, thanks for the tip and link. I've been doing this in Excel but it's much easier using this site.
