Since im not a 100% on all the engine names.

can anyone tell me what the lower one in the athearn box is and what the switcher is?

The Switcher is a Baldwin S-12 it was renumbered 8098 in 1966.

The white shell in the box is a Railpower SD90MAC.

i know the shell will work with athearn frame, but what frame would be needed?

You need a RailPower chassis and an Athearn SD-40 for the mechanicals. This more than just dropping the shell on an Athearn frame. Read the article at http://www.trainweb.org/grr/anniMAC/ for more information.

on a side note.

out of all the stuff i mainly just need the S-12 shell. wasnt sure it it would take much to turn the sd90 in to a dummy even.

But the person who owns this stuff wants $20.00 and theres a few ho scale semi trucks included also.
