Train City was named by my Autistic son and for years he has been adamant that it should stay Train City.

Recently he relented. I designed Train city to be an engine exchange facility on the SP overland route in 1891. The town where that actually happened was Rocklin. I found a blueprint.

So what do you guys think of Rock Ridge and Rocklin?

Chip
Wasn't Rock Ridge the name of the town in Blazing Saddles?
howabout,
the Mongo & Rock Ridge,
the Rock Ridge & Lamarr,
the Rock Ridge & Brooks
or
the VonShtupp & Rock Ridge Rail Road!:D:D:D

(don't mind me, lack of sleep makes me silly)

Rocklin would be a good choice since that used to be a bottom of the hill train facility for helpers coming off or headed up Donner Pass. OTOH, Mongol and Rock Ridge sounds pretty good too. :)

Actually Rocklin was the Engine Change facility and Colfax was the helper facility.

I'm actually leaning now toward Rocklin and Colfax.

Opps, you're right, how could I forget Colfax? Rocklin to Colfax passes through some nice territory and has a nice ring to it.
