been a busy week here at home. I did get everything off the smelter area and vacuumed down and i painted about half of the board a sand color. After that dried a couple of days later i laid down track and placed the buildings on the layout where they should be. I like it! Its open plan makes for more to be placed. I need a couple of parking lots for the people who work there to have a place to park. Also will need a place for the slag pit as well. I ran out of straight track for the Hayden Jct. run so i need to get one more pack and i have everything else for the track runs. Shots below of the fun. Smokey

That smelter was a bear to put together. I made a few mistakes but i was able to clear them out and fix the plan. I also got two other kits from N scale architect. I got the fuel station and last night i was finally able to get 2 of the mine gantry kits so there are on the heading my way list. I was able to build a building for shipping and receiving. also got the Republic plastics that had a building for there factory. Republic plastics burnt down in 2010 and they didn't build back so not sure where they went but about 50 people lost there jobs from that fire. anyway, right now i am building two sub stations for 6the smelter and mine. I have made around 10 of those wood power line models for the display. i have a shot or two of the electrical work. Smokey
