ModelRailroadForums.com is a free

photo gallery. We cover all scales and sizes of model railroads. Online since 2002, it's one of the oldest and largest model railroad forums on the web. Whether you're a master model railroader or just getting started, you'll find something of interest here.
I added a rolled up curtain and a figure inside to this 120 ton industrial Brownhoist steam crane. Have not weathered it or decaled it yet. May just leave it as it is. Though the Gould Company hardly made anything for the railroad I model, I do love putting their kits together.
Sorry for the small pics. I have to get photoshop I'm told. My pics are too large or too small for the forum.
Very nice job on the kit. Did you use their grabs or did you substitute wire, always found that theirs were a bit fragile when the car was in service.

This should be the same car Tichy sells now.

Thank you.
This was an exception; I prefer wire on all my rolling stock, but I figured the model would not be handled much so I just used the kits'. I must confess it was very difficult not to damage them while inserting them into their holes on the model.

Yes. I do believe the only difference is the colour of the plastic. I believe the Tichi is grey and the Gould is black.
