Hello All.
Yesterday I stopped by the Strasburg railroad including the museum. It was pretty early so the sun angle wasn't the best. I'll be posting some pics in this thread but if you want to see them all here's a link to the album. There are 115 pics total. Some were close ups for those who are interested in detail or weathering.

I was at Strasburg just last summer, the last time before that was nearly 20 years ago and I didn't remember much as I was too young. It's really spectacular and I know my favorite was the GG1 they have inside. On the day I was there they weren't allowing people to wander around outside for some reason, so I missed all that stuff. Overall it's really a neat collection.

For those who've never been to Strasburg, check the map if you are a history buff! It's also within day-trip range of Valley Forge and Gettysburg (which really needs 2-3 days to see it all). Not RR stuff I know, but can make for a great family vacation!

Thanks for the pics, HB. Been a long time since I've seen an ALCO C-415 in person. I'm assuming the dove has picked a non-operating car for nesting purposes. :)
