Stainless Steel Buildings

Improvable

Think about those silver and red buildings from the 50's with stainless steel walls that would often be passed off as "futuristic." Some were mostly built out of old railroad car bodies, and they're mostly found in the modern world as old fashioned diners like the one in the attached photo. With such a cool design, you'd think that the model train manufacturers would produce some of them for scenery right? Well I checked Trainworld's website and I only found one, a gas station by Lionel in O scale. For those that have these kinds of buildings on your layout, where did you look to find them? Or if you made your own, how did you go about it?
