Not a clue, and I can't find a decal set anywhere. Your best bet would be to special order a Funaro & Camerlengo model of the A50-6 from Walthers (#279-6560), which comes with decals, and saves you from some scratchbuilding.

F&C may sell you their decal; set but I can help with some of the data:

Under the reporting marks and car number an average sample would be:

Capacity 4830 CU FT
100000 LBS

WT 49600 NEW 2 23

Under the herald

Car dimensions:

EAVES HEIGHT 14 FT 1 1/2 IN
WIDTH 9 FT 7 IN

LENGTH OUTSIDE 51 FT 6 1/2 IN
INSIDE 50 FT 3 IN

K-2 TRIPLE VALVE
TYPE D COUPLER
SHANK 6' 8"
FRICTION DRAFT GEAR
NO 2 BRAKE BEAMS
DUST COLLECTOR

There would also be the class: A-50-6, and a build date.

There were 1500 of these built. Many were de-roofed and converted to wood chip service. 1955 was the last year for any in service, then only 2.

Southern Pacific Freight Cars, Volume 3, Automobile and Flat Cars By Anthony W. Thompson, currently available.

Cheers!

Edit: The forum format won't let me space these out correctly, but the info is correct as best I could make out.

Yes! That's just what I needed, thanks! I took a peek at the F&C model and it looks like those end doors are gonna make this an interesting build. I just printed out the sides and they look pretty good.... watch this spot!
