Southern Pacific Red?

What is the right color for the Southern Pacific Red color on the Bloody Nose and Black Widow paint schemes?

Is it SP Daylight Red? I just got this color yesterday from an order, the bottle says SP Daylight Red, i thought this would be the correct color, but man it looks way orange!

Whats the right color for SP red?

Here is the front and rear of my SP SD70M that i need to paint the grab irons red to match.....

You need SP Scarlet. Daylight red & orange are for Daylight paint schemes, like the one #4449 is painted in.

Testors regular red is a real close match, try it and see on a grabiron.

And not Model Flex red. Six different bottles of Model Flex SP Red will be six different shades. Their quality control in nonexistent.

Ill be getting either Polly Scale or Floquil SP Scarlet

The ATSF Red is a petty close match, i may just end up using that lol
