"Moonlight Graham" from the Field of Dreams soundtrack. The minor piano melody does it for me. James Horner...on Youtube. Only 2 minutes or so.

And...(7:33)...a march. Mark Isham. "On the Threshhold of Liberty." I don't what he had in mind when he composed it, but for me it always invokes The Battle of Midway. From his album Vapor Drawings.
The video is from a Sony Laserdisc. Windham Hill's "Western Light."

After the warriors came out, a local bunch of kids started the Waimalu Warriors and started vandalizing everything. Police quickly rounded them up and put an end to it.

Since I just finished watching the Warriors, I started watching Grease...

Hey...it's "Brylcreem," aka "Greasy Kid's Stuff."
"A little dab'll do ya!"

A small bit of trivia I did not know until after you posted this: "That tagline 'A little dab'll do ya' was what directly inspired the later Fred Flintstone tagline "Yabba, Dabba Do!"

Who knew? :p

Had to ask the new guy, Dave, about his moniker "Rubicon." So here we go:

He's an old head, obviously too and a good painter, BTW. Check out his Guilford Hi-Nose SD45 in HIS thread.

And...last night's launch got me back into a sixties mood, so I had to throw up this one in the April Coffee Shop...which I shouldn't have done--these belong here--but I did anyway. Just...couldn't...resist, 'cause I thought it belonged with all the rocketry an' stuff:

Still, for my money, the best album cover of all time, although I know "The Cars" Candy-O has its supporters too.

Don Gorda is on my iPad…I didn’t think anyone else listened to Don Gorda / Don Gorda Project
But there is always…

Fox News coverage of search for second aircrewman from an F-15E Strike Eagle apparently shot down in Southwestern Iran. One crewman rescued, but second one still missing. Praying for his safe recovery.

Tuned in to the Rockies-Phillies game, but Phillies were ahead at the top of the 1st 7-0! Went back to Fox!
