Setting up some Bachmann large gage for the grand kids. There is smoke liquid for the engine but I don't know where to put it or how much.
Anyone?

My HO scale is put in the smokstack w/a dropper. There is a heating unit in the boiler that is connected to a plunger that is attached to the drivers that is attached to the thigh bone that is attached to the transformer that is plugged into the wall.
Better wait till someone has a better explanation that has G scale to give you the correct way.
Merry Christmas

Same thing with G scale. Just a couple of drops down the smokestack. The important thing is to get the engine running for 10 minutes or so first since the heater does take a bit to get warmed up. Don't get impatient if you don't see smoke right away. Too much liquid will drown the heater and not allow the liquid to burn off.
