Hi, i just purchased a sergent engineering couplers in order to install 'em in my walthers cars- but they doesn't fit
does anybody have experience with that?
What are you having issues with? Every Walther's car I have, I have to either file the coupler box or the coupler itself. Walther's cars are designed to hold a Kadee snug (no slop) and the Kadee's shank is thinner then the prototype, where as the Sergent is prototypical in shank thickness, thus meaning it'll be snug.
You can file the coupler down with a small jewelers file, I'd recommend buying the assembly jig if you're planning on using Sergents all around, as you might need to file more often...
well i hoped to install the rotary couplers in my coal cars... it don't seem to fit

Have you tried slicing off the Walthers boxes and adding the ones from Sergent in their places with the couplers? That is the way I would do it.
Tom
Hummm, you might want to contact Frank (the owner) and see what he suggests for the rotary couplers. He might have some more info built up for them.
