Just found that a former club member that was on our "Last Train Home" list is still alive. He had moved out of state and just about everyone lost track of him. I sent him a long email bringing him up to date on what we've been doin. He was club pres for a number of years back in the late 90s into the 2000s.
PT hasn't produced desired results, so it's back to the spine and rehab center tomorrow. I think I have another steroid injection to the spine in my near future.

It's my belief, that in some cases PT makes the problem worse. Hope the injection brings relief.

well, PT, if prescribed correctly is good for getting muscles back in shape that may be causing the problems.
The steroid shots have worked fine in the past. It's just that my Dr. wanted to see if PT would help. I'll see her tomorrow for an update.

I guess it depends how good the therapist is...I have had some really bad experiences, and some really great experiences. Last time I went to the Orthopedic practice where I had great results and therapy previously, and they were not the same people. Not going back there again. (Meanwhile other problems cropped up, and the Sciatica went away on it's own.) Good luck with the Doc, hope the injection works for you.

Good morning. It's 77 and mostly clear. Happy Friday the 13th.
Another morning of fasting for lab tests. When I went Monday for my annual physical, the doctor ordered lab tests. Their in-office lab is closed until further notice, they said they can't find help. So, I'm off to my local Walgreen's when they open at 7 to get the tests done there. I guess it could be worse.
It could be Walmart...

Grandson got sent home late yesterday afternoon and is feeling fine. Out of all this experience he’s learned first not to put any foreign objects in his mouth and two, when he gets older, he wants to be an ambulance driver. We’ll see how that turns out Last month He wanted to be a professional baseball player, and this month earlier he wanted to be a professional football player. Oh, to be 10 years old and have a head full of dreams again.

Happy Friday, and its the 13TH if your a superstitious person. I'm not.

Going to be a mostly sunny day again today with temps going into the low 80s.

Not much else going on here. Have my 6 month routine dentist appointment this morning. We shall see what my younger dentist finds wrong that needs fixed. He tries to pick my pocket every 6 months it seems. Though the last couple of times I've escaped with nothing needing done, so Im due!

sounds like you're having quite the struggle with the sciatica there Troy. Definitely takes your attention away from anything else.
Got PT again today, then some time down at the club room. I'm still struggling with the TrainController Silver in last ditch efforts to get it working. I've tried the kiupy dance, held a pencil in my teeth, cussed at it, banged the bench top, slapped the monitor but none of that has worked yet. I haven't tried bloodletting yet or self flagellation.
