Good mornin' from sunny Cheyenne. It's 47 and clear; forecast high of 62 and a low tonight of 36. Winter storm watch for Monday night and Tuesday, so guess we better enjoy it while we can.
The saga of the movers is finally done. Delivered Friday. Separated the boxes with my model stuff; we'll get into those later in the week. For now its getting NJ(ret)'s stuff unboxed and put up.
More doctors next week, Cardiologist, GI and urologist.
Y'all have a good day and take care.

Good Morning All. Clear and 48° when I started this, It is now 60°. No real change in the forecast, still mild for the next 10 days. Running really late this morning. I went for my usual walk around dawn this morning, and my neighbor to the north was out shutting off his water line at the meter. This is the neighbor who just had his home replaced after the tornado last May. Water running under the house somewhere. Since he was going to wait a while before either he or some contractor (insurance provided) could do anything, he invited me in to look at their new digs. Led to a much longer visit than I intended, but it was all good.

Didn't do the tilling yesterday as I had planned, but I did haul another 4 yards of wood chips and about a yard and a half of compost to the garden and spread it around. Just decided to do some extra since I had it. I sure eyeballed the pool, although it's 3 months too early. My special project yesterday while wife was away, ended up not involving tools, I rotated the king-sized mattress on the bed. It would be easier if it wasn't for that damn ceiling fan.

Today starts with the dishwasher once again and I am starting the first of two loads of laundry as I post this. No shortage of outside projects that I could tackle after I do the tilling.

Out in the train shed yesterday, I added the front sidewalk figures to Gus's Bar.

Troy - Thanks for the tips on the BBQ meat loaf.

I may be getting attempts, but I have the notifications turned off so I don't know until I intentionally run a summary...which I don't always do.

Today is Texas Independence Day. 189 years ago, the Great State of Texas won their independence from Mexico. It would be 10 more years before it became a state.

Everybody have a great Sunday.
Willie those women showed up to that place fast.

I have the default signal aspect wires hooked up. Now I have to figure out what signal aspects will change to what signals when the crossover switches are thrown. I'll figure that out on paper first before I make the final connections.

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those wearing pants.

I had to put on the PJs...

This was ... keyword WAS ... a full pot of contrast paint. The only Citadel brand paint pot I own.

My jeans are in the washer right now in hopes that I can save them. Only about three spots. The rest went on the green mat.

I decided I'd repaint my current army of medieval feudal religious zealots. I was using a red and purple color scheme. Figured I'd go with Blue and Yellow.

The secret to getting a good yellow with these "contrast paints" is to use a creamy tan undercoat, then add the yellow contrast (yes, it looks orange when wet) over that.

Not much going on today. I got the new author storefront built out with the Fourthwall online store system, and moved my Mystic Brews Publishing URL over. No annual/monthly fees. Easier to use than Shopify which runs $348/year US. The new storefront, Fourthwall has a higher transaction fee by 30¢ each. But no annual fee more than makes up for that at my low sales volume. I can even even triple sales volume and still not come close to paying for Shopify.

The best thing about Fourthwall shops is that THEY are the merchant of record. So they collect and pay all of the Sales and VAT taxes on the books and such that I sell through the store. With Shopify, I had to get a service to do that. Best part is that I can also have them print up Coffee cups, Tumblers, shirts and such with my logo or book characters on them, and sell those. Again, I get the royalties, they do the printing, and collect/pay the sales tax.

@santafewillie i got a great tip for the security lines on streets.
first after masking, add a coat of the color of the actual street and let it dry. afterwards the paint seals the small gaps between the tape and the texture. then ad the first layer of the color. so it should not wander under the tape. will try this technique on another stripp. to see if this will work better.

oh and welcome all to march. i was productive on my different projects on the weekend.

TDing our first tournament of the year. 55 players, was nice and went smooth.
on sunday i was down in the layout room. i also did a early livestream, went nice. and i will show you two pictures of the work.

N Scale work: i redid the street, and put it in. now i can start on the landscaping around the overpass here.

I guess you are being totally tracked by someone somewhere. I mentioned this yesterday in a post here.

( Now I have to figure out what signal aspects will change to what signals when the crossover switches are thrown. I'll figure that out on paper first before I make the final connections.)

and this morning when I went on youtube the first thing I see is this about wiring signals for aspects.

I'm up.

No clue what today holds other than the usual Monday stuff.

We'll have leftover pizza hut stuffed crust for dinner. Here was the first round Sunday Lunch Time:

Yes our local PH has Sit Down dining, with the Pizza Buffet bar (on certain days only). They just redecorate to more of a 1980s look with check vinyl table coverings and pics of advertising and atmosphere images from that decade. Oooo! Relive the nostalgia!

Morning all,

Cloudy and 40° with rain expected overnight.

Today is the only day without a meeting of some sort expected. Part of our vacation plans involve going to the Grand Canyon, so in looking up what it costs to get in, I find there is a permanent free pass for Veterans, and it can be gotten at a fairly local place in Wichita. Nice that I don't have to put my info on the internet and hope I have the right info.

First call of the day...BBL
