Good evening folks, glad to beat the bots in. Kids are out zip-lining, Uncle Kevin is relaxing with coffee and watching the ball game. Stole some Twizzlers, forgot that these things are pretty good. Cards are up 5-0 over the Cubs, hope they can hold on. Heading home tomorrow, the little ones are a bit tiring, but they are precious and how we miss them when we're apart. Anyway, hope you all have a great evening.

1109 bots. Better get my updates in while I can.

Pulled my garlic out and they're basking in the sun to dry off. Dirt was still wet from yesterday.

Snap peas are done due to the heat. I had forgotten that they like the cold. At least I got about 10 pods off of the plant.

My impulse buy showed up and is now doing a run in.

I soooooo wanna get into OO british steam i love them but ive hear horror stories about the tender engines like something about tender drive makeing the engine do wheelies and such

tender drive
They don't make those anymore, at least not any of the major manufacturers like Hornby, Accurascale, Dapol, Rapido, Oxford Rail, Bachmann. I definitely wouldn't buy one of those as well.

N scale had some from Dapol and they were all poor runners as you can imagine with the twisting force between the tender and loco causing issues in turns.

Well, at the risk of spamming again, I'm going to repost my original five drawings, corrected for contrast and brightness. All five were drawn in pencil, but I don't "sketch," softly. I draw, with hard lines and lot of contrast. 0-8+ in almost all cases.

So, once again the first five:

The next four are also contrast corrected, and all railroad related.

Those are Awesome!

how much time does a drawing on average?
Thanks, and much appreciated. These are among the better things I've done, and among too few which still remain.

Those were about an hour each for the first five, and maybe 30m-45m for the railroad items. We were charged with producing four per week, and, as with a lot of things we all figure out in college, you learn how to trade off time vs. hours of class. Ours was six-to-one, so six hours of outside study/work for each "credit hour" of class time.

I learned how to become more efficient as time went on...but they also weren't as good either. 🧐
