We used to go to the one in town for lunch a lot. They ran a salad buffet with their lunches. It was parked on top of a KFC of all things. One day, they chopped the top off that building and all that was left is the KFC. There is another one nearby, but it is near the ocean and the parking looked small.

Well, I just took a look on maps and although they only have 9 stalls outside, they have more under the building. May have to go.

Yikes! My car might not fit... Only 2.1m clearance. I gotta check the car again. Getting the high roof version of my microvan is good, but does represent an issue sometimes.

Actually if I was in a car buying frame of mind, it’d be the Super Bee that would interest me. 🙂. Mopar or no car! I have a 2006 Chrysler Crossfire that I have a little fun with here & there, but she spends too much time on the battery tender. Plus I’d hate to insure either of those cars! 😳
I use Grundy collector car insurance. My Vette is insured for $25,000 actual cash value and all the the other stuff the stat of Texas requires. Cost is $325 per year. No limit on miles driven. If the car is totaled in an accident, Grundy writes me a check for $25,000.
Far cheaper than going with a standard insurance company. Hagerty offers similar collector car insurance.

Went out after lunch to feed my fish. Found that half of the water in the pond had mysteriously vanished as I couldn't find a trace of it on the ground. I had just changed the water yesterday, so it was full. Emergency 911 mode in effect! Two 5 gallon buckets filled, treated and are now equalizing. Going to have to monitor it for a few hours after I refill it and hope it is nothing catastrophic as I really can't do much for it while the house exterior is being worked. If there is a crack half way up, then the fish will have to live in shallow waters. For goldfish, no big deal. Just have to have water flowing through the filter to keep it alive.

Good Thursday morning, Coffee Shop! It's 68°F (°20 C) and clear.

WEATHER:
Patchy fog toward daybreak. Mostly sunny toward daybreak then partly cloudy with numerous showers and scattered thunderstorms late this afternoon. Highs in the upper 80s. Southwest winds 5 to 10 mph. Gusts up to 20 mph late this afternoon. Chance of rain 60 percent.☔

I'm off to the open air market at the former central Indiana Native American village of Strawtown later this morning.🦬

Have a great day!;)

This is the track I have left over from the Stormville Airport Tag sale. I sold a lot of 072 turns and switches. I have a lot of 027 curve track that I was going to give to a friend, but I have no straight track or switches to match. I'll go to the Stormville Airport Yard Sale September 19 and see if I can sell the rest. A third model railroader showed up at my table and wanted to buy 20 straight pieces of 41-inch track. I told him I wanted $60.00 for the 20 pieces. He said, I only want to pay $30.00. I said. no deal he got mad at me and walked away. I forgot to bring the vehicles and people; they go for a lot of money. Swal

While playing with the programming of my Rapido Lion, I found that ESU has a random function area, so I made the coal shoveling/firebox flicker come on randomly for random durations. So now, these guys keep the fire stoked without me having to tell them. I set it so that it happens only when the loco is moving. I'll take care of the water filling and initial coal load prior to leaving the station.
