July already.
Back from the post office to send my Rapido Manning Wardle and decoder back to the UK. Shipping air tracked was ¥1780 ~ $11.00. Hope they just send me a factory fitted model as mine was a wiring mess to begin with.
House is completely surrounded by scaffolding for the outside renovation. It got power washed yesterday, so it was quite a racket for the entire morning. I'm not supposed to go up, but I did to get a wire moved that the cable company that I kicked out tried to screw me over with by not leaving any line left on the inside of the house. I pushed it back in and will use it as a pull line to get a CAT5 cable to the outside. Going to use that cable for a POE security camera.

82°F/77°F at 2200. Still miserable outside. I just came back inside with Willow. I don't think even she wants to be out in this soup.

woohoo!
Rain, we got rain, after i dont know 2 weeks. we had some thunderstorms trough the night. temperature drop to around 24 celcius and it feels great again
airport had a bit of a hard time yesterday evening, handling stop for around 40mins i think. not good. but my vegetables said thank you to the water.
sold some books in my store, thats always cool.
and maybe i will find some time to finally create some new type of bushes in the upcoming days. oh and i made a impulse buy (ordered a new drone -.-) ahahahaha.

The Canadian sailing hedgehog from my Eerie Falls series would like to wish you all a happy Canada Day, Eh!
The Canadian Confederation came into existence on this day in 1867, following the British North America Act, joining Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick into the Dominion of Canada - despite not having a bloody revolution. Though a couple of groups did try to get one going, but for reasons other than uniting the provinces.

Good Morning All. Clear and 75°. Hasn't been getting as warm as they have been forecasting, so the NWS has backed off it's latest prognostication...highs just in the mid-90's now instead of the upper-90's!
Did the usual household maintenance yesterday, a load of laundry, a trip out to the dumpster, raked up a cart load of grass clippings and made pot roast for supper. I think that I resolved the minuscule air bubbles in the pool, but it will take 2-3 days for all of the existing ones to dissipate.
Looks like the dishwasher will start the day today.
Out in the train shed yesterday, I continued on with my current project. Painted the driveway apron in front of the fire station and added lots of ground cover. Then I ran trains rather than to continue there and risk dragging my forearms across any of the areas that I had just done. I did add three trees to the area around the micro-brewery also. Should have taken a picture or two, but I was too involved with switching the large grain elevator nearby. It gets a lot of traffic.
Troy - It does seem that our weather has gotten away from us a bit. Your temperatures in the Fort have been warmer than ours for a couple of days now, both the overnight lows and afternoon highs.
Today is Canada Day, for all of our members up north. Canadian actress Pamela Anderson is also 59 today. She is a Centennial baby, having been born on Canada's 100th birthday! I never saw her in Baywatch since that began after I stopped watching most TV, but she caught my eye a few years earlier on Home Improvement.
Everybody have a wonderful Wednesday. I will hit "Post Reply" in a timely manner today!

Happy Hump Day!
7:20 in the morning and already 82F humid degrees. High is supposed to be about the dame as yesterday at 94F.
The neighborhood fireworks will be going off in full swing starting tonight. Their have already been a few here and there but tonight will
be the kick-off for the next 4 days making the dog a basket case.
Have a couple loads of laundry and some light household clean up to get to this morning. I really need to mow, but that remains to be
seen if it happens. I do mine on a riding mower so its really not that bad.
We will see what else the day brings!

Their Magic 8-Ball is predicting a break by Sunday of 91°F for a high, but I didn't hear a DP mentioned of course. If it doesn't drop to at least 60°F, it's still going to be miserable on Sunday regardless of 91°.
Not a thing on the schedule for today except eating. That's all that's going on around here today.

Off to get the ears lowered!
Taking my unboxed N-scale rolling stock into the local hobby for some trade in dollars. I bought them used, so it'll be pennies on shorter dollars coming back. But I don't want to mess with Fleabay for selling little stuff.
Also got birth certificates ordered of myself, mother, and grandmother. Great Grandfather is a missing baby, born before Indiana started keeping official records.
i do have an uncertified copy of his WW1 Draft Card, though. I had forgotten that he suffered a farming accident and lost his left arm above the elbow. The Draft card gave him an exemption.
