Remember the flavor of the food is the spice for many foods.
If you look at some Chinese style that is tofu and vegetables, maybe some meat — Szechuan style for example— the tofu is just a carrier for the spice and flavorings.

Adding a double crossover. I didn't plan on this but thought it to be necessary to have trains move between tracks. I'm lucky I kept the track 2 inch on center when first putting it down.
Swal
Busy weekend of mainly catching up on things around the house.
Willie: I have the same issue with being easily distracted. Partially why I can't seem to get into the train room lately and why retirement is going to kill me.

Flo, I’ll buy till noon today everything but the alcoholic drinks. Yes, my tab plus your tips! Feeling the best at this time of the morning that I can remember since early Summer. The PT changed 2 weeks ago to lots of stretching and whatever pains I’ve had in the left side since August starting sometime last week is gone, not reduced but gone…
I did the daily 2-3 miles walking this morning outside in the dark as sunrise today was 7:18. I opened the door at 5:12. The wind was calm and the real feel was at +15f degrees. Good walking weather and I got the 3 miles in at 51 minutes. The best I have done since early Spring when the health adventures started to happen. I’m showered and perky but Terry said stay away, but offered a maybe later!
Train room adventures today hopefully include laying the new roadbed and much later the track. I had a derailment spot that I couldn’t fix and tearing it out was the solution, I hope. A simple fix has turned into a complete realignment. I ended up tearing up 27” of track and road bed. I hope this works.
Good Morning All. Clear and 30°. Should warm up nicely today with clouds tomorrow and rain Wednesday and Thursday; but still in the 60's.
Early morning doctor appointment and the lumberjacks will visit today, so I can't stay long.
I installed another 8 ground throws yesterday out in the train shed; just 14 left to go. I also did some painting on the Live Wire Manufacturing kit.
Tom O - Glad that it's you and not me rebuilding that curve. Good luck. Chad - Good luck with the house inspection. Seems like it should go well. Patrick -

My simple taste in foods were established early in my life. I was raised by second generation Irish and German immigrants whose idea of spices was salt and pepper. I never tasted hot peppers until I was 16 when Nachos with Jalapenos were introduced to Memorial Stadium. It wasn't until I met my second wife, who is from Hungary did I begin to eat other spicy foods. I like a little bit of spice, but not too much.
My favorite food is hotdogs.
I have no idea what tofu is. It sounds to me like something from California.
