TomO - That is an uncanny realistic photo - WOW!
Good morning, y'all. 32° and sunny. I'm happy with this tranquil winter... The visit to the Cardiologist went well. He did change one of my BP meds, and told me to reduce my coffee intake. Otherwise, I'm good through May.
JUSTIN -- Most of them had quite a collection of soot on the tops.My Atlas C&O GP38. I was able to fix the railings on it. But that nasty rub on the cab. I dont know what to do about it.
Patrick, do you need the whole set, or just pieces?? I'll dig through my handrails tonight, IIRC I may still have some GP7 parts. I sold off all of my Athearn Geep 7s a while back with parts, but something tells me I still have some. BTW with minor modification, Atlas "yellow box" GP7 handrails and Front Range plastic handrails will fit.
What is considered TO MUCH ? Should you go by weight? Age? 2cups -4cups a day? Is that a CUP or a MUG? Or go by ounces ? How many ounces a day?Didn't I tell ya that yesterday?? Could have saved ya the trip!
I must confess though, I am guilty of partaking of the fruit of the bean a little too frequently myself.
Sorry, It's a GP9, not GP7.
I need the long and short railings. The stanchions from a wrong model are the same and I have the front and rear end railings on the model. I can adapt the headlight lens and horn from another kit. The horns are actually still showing in stock at Athearn.

You would have been hard pressed to find a single clean unit in the coal fields. With that said I dont know if I have it in me to weather my fleet. But it is a good suggestion that I'll probably tackle down the road eventually.JUSTIN -- Most of them had quite a collection of soot on the tops.
Grab yourself some weathering chalk, or powder!
It is an older Blue Box. Steel wheels give it away.Patrick, If its an Athearn "blue box", it's a GP7. Athearn miss labeled them as GP9s . No matter, as they are Identical except for the battery box vents.
Sure wondering if GUY is a free-man, or a poor man this morning?
Karl - Good report from the Doc. I should go see the surgeon that did my shoulder replacement. Should have gone last June but passed because of the mask requirements. The arm is great, and is now the "good" arm
