Howdy folks, well it hit 82 here today and lots of sunshine. Made it through work okay today which was a blessing! Gonna go over my Sunday School lesson for tomorrow, I think we are still a week behind, so I won't be teaching it tomorrow but I'm gonna be ready anyway. Hope you guys all have a good day.
Good Afternoon All. It's still 80° at 5:30 pm, after a high of 82° today. WTF, it's still February!
Just got in from sitting in the yard with a cold brew after working in the garden today. While I didn't till today, I did spread more shredded trees, wood ashes, grass clippings and compost around to till in and add organic matter to my heavy black clay soil. It also provides food for the earthworms who leave their castings to fertilize the ground. They're still too deep to be affected by tilling right now.
Glad you are getting the garden going.
I'm glad also. This is only the second time in over 50 years that I didn't get an early Spring garden in, but I may still plant some Lettuce and Radishes tomorrow. They will maybe beat the heat. I'm too late for Onions, Carrots, Green Peas, Spinach and Broccoli, all of which I usually plant.
Spent some time out in the train shed while on rest breaks, I'll post that in the morning after I retrieve the camera in a few minutes.

The Bar Mills saga continues.....
When I spoke with Len on Monday he stated my order went out Friday 20th. I still haven't received the package and was going to call Monday. I just checked my emails and lo & behold there's an email from Bar Mills.
A UPS label was created today and the order will go out Monday March 2. I at least have a tracking number.
I am done doing business with them. They may produce nice kits, but they have no business ethics. I'm sure I'm not the only one that they have not been honest with. Sad to see this happen.
