Mike it was already on my driver's license, but Honda wouldn't except that. They needed a copy of my DD-214, which was extremely hard to get. I already had an ID,me account that eVetRecs required but eVetRecs wouldn't even except that. I had to be face to face with an ID.me person showing my SS number and drivers next to me on a live chat. After that got done request the forms from eVetRecs, with not 1, but 3 different passwords. Then when they finally sent the DD-214 I had to impute 2 more passwords before I could even open the downloaded file. I was on the phone with them early this morning and was 23rd in line for conformation to get this all accomplished after a 40-minute wait because they never sent the first request which had to be sent again. Lots of Red Tape to get this done. Swal

amount of hoops in hope you cant collect on them.

Anyways, glad you got a copy and got this done!

This is copper-clad aluminum wire which I have not used before. It's widely used in the automotive industry, so I can't think that there's anything wrong with it. Maybe Karl can enlighten me.

Looks like Louis beat me to it, but he's right on point. For a lighting bus,CCA will do just fine.

I don't recall those issues getting a copy of my DD-214 a couple years ago. I hadn't had a copy since 1998 when all my records were involved in a flood and didn't think I'd ever need a copy.

It was hard Patrick. Did you have face to face online meeting with ID.me. That alone was super hard for me. Maybe your use to hooking up these online meeting. I'm not. The person from ID.me asked can you see me? I replied yes I can. He said, but I can't see you and that has to happen. You'll have to fix that like I knew what to do. Swal

Yeah, it was all good untill he got out of it! We've had sh!t go flying and causing injuries with seas less than half of that. Secure for sea is definitely a required evolution.

Yeah, we stayed away from that stuff as crimping it for a DB25 connector would always end up breaking the wire. I think best for solder type pins rather than crimp.

Wow, lucky you didn't roll over. We were doing rudder swing shifts while transiting from Hawaii to Japan. During one turn, the ship did a sudden hard roll and stuff went flying. Then I heard "secure from engineering drills". CO came on and said we almost went over on that one.

Patrick I did not contact the VA when I was discharged. I already had great health insurance at the time with the railroad. I've been off the VA books for 60 years. I would be cautious to if all of a sudden, I contacted them this year. Swal

No, I guess I'm the angry old guy. It's a pita to get my ID card out of my wallet. It has a window slot so that I can show the front of it easily.

This is just one of the cashiers and she knows what she's doing but I guess she cannot deviate from her programming. When she did it before, I told her that I don't think anyone could retire from the military and still be less than 21 years old.

Several times when I saw somebody obviously under-age waiting in line with alcohol, I'd start carding everybody. Usually the kid would figure it out and step out of line so he didn't get caught.
