While I was waiting for my appointment, the game was on at the reception area. I was able to ignore it until the half time show came on, then it was the worst noise in the world. I moved to the farthest area that I could go to. Then the tv died and I never felt so relieved. This is the first time I have ever been happy that Amerigarbage (americable) lived up to their nickname.

They have raw horse over here as well. I didn't particularly care for that one.

This was Jan 2016 so a decade ago. It was pretty good. I'd try it again if I found it, but I've not seen it since.

My most memorable Super Bowl was in 1971. I lived in an off-campus house while going to college. I didn't have a TV, but a friend who lived in the dorm brought his 13" BW TV over so we could party. Before the game, everyone, male and female, picked a team. Whenever the other team scored, everyone on the defensive side had to remove an article of clothing for the remainder of the game. Sadly, it was a very low scoring game so the party stalled out early!

Good morning all.
We departed Italy on the 3rd Feb on MSC Abidjan with a full load of containers. Our destination is Rotterdam.
Before that we will call in a London Container Port; which will be this afternoon.

Our journey was slow (12.5 knots) at times when we were in the Atlantic Ocean because of bad weather conditions. Fortunately the weather brightened up and we have picked up lost time.

In Rotterdam we will transfer to the MSC Nerissa.

Willie maybe you could help me out with this. My wife left me an annuity, and she was listed on my 2024 return. The distribution code on this annuity in box 7 was 7D. This year when I inhered the annuity the code in box 7 changed to 4D. I'm trying to figure out if this means I don't have to pay taxes because taxes were already paid by my wife or not. The code changed in box 7 from 7 to 4 means what? I know this isn't easy. Should I just call the annuity and get there input? Swal

Morning all,

In early as I want to make up part, if not all, the time I'm out tomorrow for my trigger finger release procedure. In at 7:00 with 7:30 start time. It's done under a local and I can go to work afterward.

Currently 36° and clear with a high later of 75°. It got to 71° yesterday.

While I didn't get anything done on the trains, I got brake parts ordered for the truck, got the ends on the new air line for the compressor and checked all the tire pressures, including my son's 2004 Cavalier. Since he's looking at letting his soon to be 16 year old nephew drive it, I spent the time checking the fluid levels, and general cleanup of it. Found that the tires were purchased in early 2017 and are still at 90%, so it will need new tires before he'll be able to drive it. I then remembered last night that I forgot to check all the lights. We have a cop who, let's just say, is a little gung ho about license plate lights being out, even if one of 2 is still on. Pulled me over as he thought I had a brake light out. Turns out I didn't but I have LED's in the headlight surrounds and wheels a bit nice than stock.

Good morning all!

Big warm up starts today. Currently 19F with an expected high of 43F . Next 10 days look really good if the forecast holds out.

Have to do the weekly grocery trip this morning, Its usually done on Saturday but with the funeral and the all day volleyball
tournament yesterday, it had to wait till today. Have a few loads of laundry to get done as well.

No basketball game or practices tonight so it should be pretty quiet.

Have a safe day everyone!

Howdy all from NW Indiana, It feels like 14 degrees and feels like 8 degrees with snow in the forecast...we've had a a ton of snow this year with no let up in sight. Watched the Puppy Bowl yesterday; Joan and I have watched that for years now. Great fun. Haven't watched any pro football games since Kapernick and we don't miss them at all. Stay warm

The optometry appt went well with nothing major. He did find some defects in my right eye and took photos and the normal other stuff. He saw a lot of my floaters and was pretty nonchalant about it until I told him that it affects my driving and other stuff. He then changed his approach and I now have an appt pending with the ophthamologist. I hope this goes somewhere.

He did dilate my eyes and the drive home was very scary. I almost jumped in front of another car, but luckily I saw him in time and he was turning anyway.

As you probably all know, the shining the bright light in the eye thing hurts a lot and I was about to tell him where I buried Jimmy Hoffa when he finally stopped. My headache from that has finally subsided.

It's taxable regardless of whether the first number is a 7 or a 4. 7 indicates that the annuity holder was alive for part of the year, 4 indicates that it is now an inherited annuity.

Well, howdy there internet peeps and those happy that the Cheatriots lost.

I'm from Indiana, and team rivalries are expected... until they beat you with cheating. Then it's war!

So, except for the transplants that brought their home team with them, most everyone in this state, even the non-sportball fans, will smile when they hear that the team known for it's cheating (under Coach Cheatercheck) lost. ;)

The way you all talked about the halftime show, I had to see if it was online somewhere. It is. I'm amazed at the production value, and how the stagehands can set that up and break it down so fast. Once it got out of the opening rap number, the rest had a good toe-tapping beat despite me not understanding Espanol. Lots of cameos in there as well. Lady GaGa, Pedro Pascal, Luis, and a real wedding. A lot of cultural references that went over my head. Going to be interesting to spend the day in San Juan in about three weeks on our cruise.

On the Sciatica front, had a good sleep with only a EX Tylenol before bed. A couple of pee runs, but slept in until 6 am. The first hour up is still painful as the advil kick in enough I can work on stretches to loosen the hips up.

Groceries later today, and the ever present pile of laundry to tackle.

Swung by the Hobby store this weekend, and got restocked on CA glue, but they were out of the WS Blended Turf shaker that I'm almost out of. Doing the last batch of gaming hills put it into the need to restock list.

So, I found it on The Big River store. Should be here by Wed.

OK time to shower.

Looks like I'm headed to my favorite electronics emporium for a replacement for my Crapple laptop. It's going to replace the one I managed to sit on--with predictable results. I have a really nice iPad Pro and keyboard, but every app on it that's worth having is moving to a subscription, so it's now at the point it sits in a drawer, and I use the laptop. Until I tripped on a shoe and landed on the ottoman, where the laptop was sitting...
I tried looking through Fecesbook Marketplace, since I don't "have to have" brand new, but after culling through all the scams, a good used model is only a couple hundred bucks less than a new one, so, off I go.

Good morning gang!

10° this morning, maybe 20° for a high under clear skies. They say in a day or 2 we might exceed 32°, ooooh wow, heat wave

Played trains last night, heard the occasional groan from the living room upstairs while the football game was on. Finally wife came downstairs and ran a load of laundry. Saying it was better than watching the football game.

Cardiologist appointment tomorrow. Daytona speed week starts Wednesday, wife's birthday and Valentine's day is Saturday, then the 500 on Sunday!

Onward!

Good Morning All. Clear and 47°, probably reach 80° later on, much like yesterday. You gotta like 80° in February. SIL told us that the golf course yesterday was packed!

The usual Sunday here yesterday. Mass in the morning followed by the bed linen laundry. Grated a boatload of various cheeses for the wife's Spinach-Artichoke dip which was quite good. Then grated some more later for the spaghetti and meatballs that I made for supper. Dishwasher ran last night, so I have that to look forward to this morning. I think that it's also time for a regular laundry load today. The football game was obviously a bore since my wife ate supper at the table instead of in front of the TV! That made me think a bit. We have only one TV in our house. Daughter #1 has 6, while daughter #2 has 7. Both have one out on the patio and one in every bedroom! However, neither one has one in their kitchen. Just not that important in our lives. But I have a whole building full of trains.

Out in that train shed yesterday, I ran some trains over the track that I rewired Saturday. Didn't seem to make a difference but I'm sure that it actually did. I did a bit of housekeeping, as I uncovered some long-forgotten stuff underneath the layout when I cleared it for the rewiring project. Didn't really spend a lot of time out there, as is customary for Sundays.

Tom O - I guess that that is just another reason that I am not on FB.
Jerome - My wife will pick up some sushi every so often and I will eat some. While it is OK, I still prefer the taste of cooked seafood instead.
Karl - I have eaten steak tartare many times, but I had to look up cannibal sandwiches. Might be interesting.

Everyone have a great Monday.
