What sport doesn't have a ball, nor skies, nor leotards? Something I might just pay attention to at the Olympics?

My only concern is, how does one get their "Fan Boy" on for curling? Wear a head full of hair curlers? Bring a broom? What kind? Harry Potter Witch broom? Push broom? When they win, do we throw plush stones onto the ice?
Wear a polo shirt and be a fat middle aged man. Congrats your the team captain.

On the Japan N scale forum we had some funny discussions with a Canadian guy about curling.

Good day to all........................

I believe curling rates right up there with darts as an Olympic sport. And I used to play on a dart team about 45 years ago.......sorry, I've never done curling except with weights and that was well over 45 years ago.

I have a package coming from a recent purchase. The seller is in Spring Texas, about 375 miles from me. The seller elected to ship via FedEx. I would be willing to bet that package will go out of state twice before it gets to me. The last package I received shipped by FedEx arrived with several corners "accordioned" in and with several punctures/scrapes. That package was shipped from Nebraska and had hit 11 transfer points before getting to me. It looked worse than most packages I receive through the USPS. Thanks to good packing by the seller the contents were OK. And the seller had put "Fragile" stickers on the box.

Hopefully some work in train room today.

Everyone have a great day........John

One other way you can tell is by the mis-pronunciation of large numbers. 1200 is pronounced as one two hundred, not twelve hundred. Also some words flatout mispronounced. There is an area north of Baltimore called Towson. Properly pronounced it rhymes with cow-son. AI says it as Tow (like tow truck) son. It has been this way since the 1st Garmin, and in a lot of cases is still that way. I always wondered what AI would sound like pronouncing Ypsilanti, Lititz or other town names. ;) :D
I was watching a video on the Ruger 10/22. AI pronounced it ten over twentytwo. As soon as I heard that I knew it was BS.

Here in the UK we have the Royal Mail and once I posted something and took time to put FRAGILE tape and stickers on all sides.

My friendly postmaster pointed out that it was a total waste of time as the gigantic rotating drum sorting machines that all post and packages are put through, sometimes more than once, can't read...

Willie didn't you say your wife works for H&R Block? I downloaded their software and was going along great with it until I started entering my Railroad Retirement stuff. Their RR form doesn't match the one the railroad sends me. It's always been super easy to fill out this RR form with Turbo Tax until this year, but H&R Block's RR boxes don't seem to match for some reason. I know this is a long shot but does anyone else here on RR Retirement use H&R Block to do their taxes. Swal

I've had good luck with Royal Mail. On average, I get my stuff from the UK around 7 days. Much better than USPS taking over 14 days. Their customer service sucks like everywhere else, but I did get resolution after about 20 emails from 20 people asking the same thing. After I elevated it, it got fixed. Even after it got fixed, I got another canned email, which got ignored.

Only once did my shipment not make it. It went from they have the package to nothing for a few months. Then mysteriously and stupidly, it got updated as delivered a couple of days after they received the package. Someone was CYA, but they f-d up my saying that it went from the UK to delivered in Japan in 2 days.

Evening all,

Gotta remember Mac's aren't Windows machines. I moved the Chamber of Commerce off of our network to their own isolated internet, (our firewalls DMZ). Yes, it's what it sounds like, using the same internet, but totally isolated from our network.

2 newer machines picked up automatically their internal IP addresses. 3rd machine was about a 6 year old one that picked up it's address, but could network print and see the network, but not connect to the internet. I was able to hack into it's OS portal to find it hadn't reset DNS servers. Still trying to work off of our internal systems it could no connect to. Took 30 seconds to clear and worked fine immediately after clearing.

It also didn't help that I was fighting with a switch that tested fine 2 weeks ago, and then decided it didn't want to commit. Two hours to do a change that should have taken less than 30 minutes.

Otherwise, it was a good day. We hit 68°. Only supposed to be 60 tomorrow, with a low of 35°.
