I read this morning that Albertsons is suing Kroger because Kroger didn't give away enough to appease the anti-trust people.

Well, howdy there internet peeps, and those who understand why you go to Ralph's when you need something cheaper than "our most modestly priced receptacle" -- but even that won't be cheap enough soon. Coffee (except for a very tiny quantity) is not produced in the US, and tariffs will jack it all up.

In other news, I wrote a chapter (Prologue) this morning for the new book. Figured that would be a good thing to add in the kickstarter bonuses.

Then I decided I needed an image to go with the "author notes" I add to the book packages to make some added value. So here's what I got from the generator:

That was about 40 lbs abog, but it's pretty close. Even got my cat correct. But he's a couple pounds heavier too.

Good morning gang! or good afternoon or evening, what ever the case me be.

Been out of sorts as it was, driving the porcelain bus most of yesterday, and woke with a migraine today that took to well in the afternoon to go away. Just has a nice mild chicken and pasta dish, the 1st real food since Wednesday at lunch. I think the Burger King lunch was out to get me. Feeling better now, hope to make it to work tomorrow.

With my health issues I am experienced at sitting on the porcelain throne, seldom driving. I'm sorry to hear you felt bad. That headache could have been the result of dehydration.

I think the Burger King lunch was out to get me.

You never know for sure. Burger King's cooking system is all but idiot proof, but nothing is perfect. It could have been a stomach bug.

24° and cloudy looks like kind of a dismal day with a high temp of only 36°.

Heading back to work today after exorcising all of my demons. Tummy is back to normal. Headache is gone thanks to Tylenol 3 which is basically Tylenol with codeine. Don’t ask where I got it just know that it works.

Happy Friday, we made it!

Currently 7 degrees heading up to a high of maybe 26. There is no wind so no real feel temp this morning. No precipitation in the forecast, that come tomorrow with a supposed rain snow mix.

My daughter has her Christmas program tonight. Since she goes to a Catholic school they still of course call it a Christmas program. The public school calls there's a Holiday program. Since she is in 8th grade it will be the last one her or us has to attend. They don't do one in HS.

Have some errands to run this morning as well.

It's really a shame that these programs have faded out. I was a chorus member in high school and our Christmas program was not only recorded but we (chorus and band members) all received a 33 1/3 vinyl LP of the program a few weeks later. I still give it a spin each year!

Don't get me started on the woes of our educational system (and I use that term loosely). At work I am forced to print everything I have to write down because nobody here can read or write cursive.

My son, now 48 can't write in cursive and has stumbling problems reading it, still.
