After many years of letting my trains collect dust and sitting there I had to blow the dust off and get started again.Several years ago around christmas time I was able to get a LGB christmas train on sale, it was bright green and red with antlers on the smoke stack and decorated for santa.got it home, set it up and ran it for about 15 minutes and then packed it all away except for the little 0-4-0 which i began to tear down for a rebuild into something that resembled a real train.I mainly model HO but wanted to try a garden railway that still hasn't even had the first piece of track layed, maybe someday. Here are a few pictures of what I ended up with after finaly finishing.

Regards,Gary

Hey Gary, welcome to the forum. There are several of us Garys around here now. Nice job on the little steamer. I'm an HO modeler myself. I always thought a Garden railroad would be cool, but the wife and I have a deal. I keep my trains out of Her Garden and she keeps her plants off My Railroad. Looking forward to seeing your HO setup as it comes along. Friendly crowd here, don't be afraid to ask questions and post pictures.

Welcome aboard the forum and back to active again. There are several here including myself who for various reasons let the dust pile up. In my case it was 23 years. Nice work on the loco and the shed. Looking forward to seeing some pics of your HO when you're ready.

Great kitbashing job on the 0-4-0 and nice looking engine house too. You must be a good HO modeler too.
