Could you please mark in red and yellow where I need insulated joiners or railcuts if already installed?
Your other help allowed me to understand the nature of these. According to Lin Westcott's "How to Wire your Model Railroad" they are called when it's a turn out "selective control". Thanks !!!

Ultimately what you must have, are the two rails electrically isolated from each other. Looks like you already have the meter out. Perhaps before joining any track together, check the rails for continuity, and if there is continuity between rail A and rail B, repair that before installation......
 
That crossover seems to be of a slightly different design as the switch you posted in the other thread.

I'm looking at the pic and cannot see whether there are existing "gaps" already cut in the rails, or whether they need to be cut.

I've indicated in red where I would put "gaps" (or insulated rail joiners if possible at the top and bottom).

Have you been able to get any trains running over these old turnouts?
The stuff is ancient by now...
 
yes, actually I have everything working with no issues right now other than learning to have power everywhere and when I discover a short I remove each rail from power individually till it doesn't short. I won an auction of a crapload of Truscale stuff with a bunch of it still new in packaging. 2 loops with 2 crossovers for right now each on their own power supply and building a 3rd loop inside the first two for my turntable with a crossover to access the turntable. I like messing with old stuff. previous hobbies include tube radios, tvs, 16mm RCA 400 projectors.... my wife just shakes her head and wonders what's coming after this one... I told her this is it, because with model railroading you are never done, adding, changing fixing locos, fixing cars, scenery, buildings, weathering, etc.
