Just wondering if anyone has ordered through Brooklyn Locomotive Works:

I was thinking about ordering their Atlas GP-38 and SD60M.

I'm not tyring to start anything negative at all - I'm just new to this hobby, and wanted to check with other people.

I haven't ordered anything rom Brooklyn Locomotive works so I can't help you there. I do most of my ordering from Hobbylinc at http://www.hobbylinc.com/prods/u.htm and they've always had good prices and fast service.

Yeah, when I've done plastic model kits (1/700 ships and whatnot), I used Hobbylinc. I always liked them.

However, I couldn't find a 3 window SD-60M and my Grand Trunk GP-38 from anyone else, so I got them from BLW.

I was fairly pleased with the service - they didn't have the same road number I ordered, and had to call them to find out what was going on. However, they reduced my shipping and sent it out. Just got it today.

They are so cool! It's my first "real" model railroad equipment (I had a couple HOs when I was a kid).
