Reflective glass in vehicles

I have several older (1990s) Walthers fuel oil delivery trucks made of a resin. I no longer have instructions but want to know how best to paint the vehicles glass to get a reflective appearance? TIA.


Long story / same question:
Years ago when Walthers introduced the Cornerstone line I purchased the Interstate Fuel structure. With that series there were sold separately vehicles that were a cast resin I believe that needed to be painted. Well that project never got off the board but as I am jumping back in want to paint those fuel oil delivery trucks. Of course I do not have the instructions so am asking what painting technique for the windshield and truck door windows?

Try the war gaming websites and such, they do a lot of small resin models.

I think I would be tempted to try to use anti-static bag material, or kapton tape over a navy blue or dark grey base coat.

GT, I have never heard of kapton tape so will need to do some research.
