Most railroads have always had some sort of transportation for Crews that are Re-Crewing though trains at a Crew Change Point. N&W had Chevy Suburbans driven by Yard Clerks long ago and now uses Renzenberger (a Kansas based railroad crew transport company) To transport crews from the yard offices to their trains and incoming crews back. Although some crews change right at the yard, there is still a transport van waiting to and from. This has been a practice on most railroads for decades. I never see this replicated on Model Railroads. This is one more detail that can be used for more realism on our pikes. Those White Vans should be part and parcel of our Operations also.
