Business took me to Elkhart, IN last week. I was able to do some railfanning along the Norfolk Southern Chicago mainline.
With trains every 10 to 15 minutes or so, it's a great place to railfan, but the unrelenting black of the NS power does get me down after a while. Thanks goodness you can also see UP, BNSF and CPR on the line, too.

But the unrelenting black of the NS power does get me down after awhile--than goodness you can also see UP, BNSF and CPR units on the line! (And, if you are very lucky, a unit in Conrail blue.)
