I think everyone is guilty at one point or another (myself included, and perhaps doubled )...and it's important to realize that. If I expect my own stupidity to be forgiven, I darn well ought to forgive others' as well (of course, that creates a never ending circle of stupidity...oh well...nothing new on this planet)...
