In my layout I have roughly about 13 turnouts.
Would I have to solder feeders on each end of every turnout since power connection is lost when they are turned?

I always liked that layout design.

I wired my turnouts, but mine are not power routing. You could get away with wiring all the sections around the turnout.

You know of course you have a reverse loop.

Also, FYI: here is a presentation from the 2005 NMRA Convention that specifically uses this layout to explain how you can have operations on a 4 x 8.

Edit: Oops! Starting Ops on a 4 x 8

Thanks for the fast respnce Spacemouse.
Yeah "The operations on a 4 x8" website is actually where I got this Layout idea. I really think it will work out good for my freight/coal industry.

I noticed the reverse also while choosing this layout.
Im going with a Zephyr Digitrax, So would I have to wire it a specific way for the reverse loop?
