I am looking for information about the PH&D RR from back in the 40's through the 80's.
Specifically pictures of or with the crew of the trains.
The reason is my Grandfather on my mothers side worked on the PH&D all his life, but apparently he was camera shy as I cant find any pictures of him except for one.
His name was Merle Sari and I was told he was a conductor of a freight train when he retired.
If anyone has pictures of the PH&D workers that they can post I would be most interested in seeing them.
I have attached a photo in hopes someone may recognize him? I would like to build a model of his train with engine and caboose if I can find pictures of them.
I have tried the historical society in Port Huron with no luck,or maybe I just haven't talked to the rite person?
Thanks for any help
