Im building up a SP (H-24-66), and all the pics ive found so far, the #s on the number boards do not match the cab #.
Were they all like this, or is there a reason for it. Just not sure how to do them.
any info would be great.
thanks Mike
The SP used the number boards for displaying train numbers, and only displayed the cab number if the loco was pulling an extra, which would appear as "X4812" (a correct number) Since the H-24-66 fleet was bought for commute service, the number of any commute train would do. I have a photo of 4812 displaying train number 139 and another with train #118. Hope this helps.
yep that answers my question
