Im looking at there detail kit #155 for the husky stack cars (athearn). The description says it comes with the following parts.

•End Load Guides/Locator boxes
•End Grab Uprights
•Lift Rings
•40' Container Load Guides

Would the end grab uprights be the ladders? If not does anyone make the ladders for these in anything other then plastic? I grabbed one of mine off the shelf tonght and cringed when i heard the sound of plastic breaking.

You guessed it 2 of the upper rails on the ladders broke. If anything i guess ill just order new plastic ones and leave them off untill the car only sits on the layout.

Thanks Mike

Kit #157 does have the uprights (more commonly called stanchions), so I'd take an educated guess that #155 has them as well. Plano parts are amazing, though I'm not 100% in agreement with the way they set up the bends. The stanchions are "L" shaped, Plano chose to make the two halves of the "L" separate, and attached to the base, which means you have to CA two thin, long strips togeather to get the "L". The new Gunderson Twinstack parts achieve the same "L" with a lengthwise bend.
