Hi to all. I am a railroad modeller from Romania specialized in ATSF. About a month ago I bought from a store in UK a Proto2000 GP7 sound equiped (I mainly use my locos in dcc mode but ocasionaly also in analog mode). The model was used about half an hour for testing after I received it and worked very smoth at every speeds, and after I put it back in the box and never used it untill yesterday, when both in dcc and analog mode the loco started to stagger at slow speeds. When you rev it up it runs as smooth as the first time but at slow speeds it staggers and makes crunching noises. I opened the shel and tried to reset the load compensator but I couldn't (I use a Roco MultiMouse dcc station). Upon opening the shel and running the loco without it I saw that when it staggers, the electrical colectors on the motor make sparks at the contact with the engine crankshaft (at higher speeds they don't). Has anyone encountered such a problem with the Proto2000 GP7, and what should I do ???
Thank you.
