Pre-order for N scale Atlas GP40-2W

I’ve been searching for an Atlas GP40-2W for Guilford Rail and noticed that they are listed as pre-order for “sometime” second quarter 2022 on micromark.com

Does anybody know of a more specific release date for these?

I doubt that there is going to be a more specific date than that, given the supply chain crisis for products made in China. I even truly doubt that second quarter is a reality, most likely third quarter from what I have read. It is however probably already on a boat. If it is something that you really want, pre-order it ASAP to ensure getting one, as even most pre-ordered diesels are sold out rapidly. At least that is the case in HO that I have experience with. Pre-orders with Micro Mark are not charged to you until they ship to you.
