I recently got an Atlas SD24 ATSF Tigerstripe from my wonderful wife for Christmas. I already had a Digitrax DH163PS on hand and it was an easy enough install. Got the shell off plugged in the harness and was good to go or so I thought. Direction was backwards with you guys help I corrected that with a change in CV's. My issue now is directional lighting. When I go forward the number board lights and front light comes on but nothing happens in reverse. What gives?? Another thing is that Digitrax mentions a decoder manual on their website insinuating they have a list of CV's and values for their decoders but I can't seem to find it. Please advise.
IIRC this means you installed the 8 pin plugh incorrectly - guys , corect me if i'm wrong.
On the 8-pin socket, there should be a little 1 or an arrow or something similar pointing to a single socket. That is pin #1. When orienting your decoder, pin #1 is always the orange wire.
I beleive I had it right but I'll check it again.
