Hey everyone. New to the forums. I wanted to bring attention to an amatuer hobbyist in my area that does a huge display every year for Christmas.

Every year in Fort Pierce, FL he opens up his home and property to the public from a few days before Christmas until New Years day.

Here are about 50 or so pictures from his place. He has roughly about ten different track and train layouts from some real scale models to the general little toy train sets. If you're in the area (about an hour and a half south of Orlando, and hour north of West Palm Beach) I highly recommend checking it out. Admission is free to the general public and Jerry (the owner of the sets) is on site every night.

Very neat article, but most of the photos are so dark you can see much other than spots of light.

I know, and I apologize. We will be going back on New Years Day to get some day shots. If anyone is in the area, I recommend going.

Being in photography for many years and now working with Digital it is possible to lighten the images so they are easier to view and possibly save you a lot of added effort.

Depending on the type of camera your using and the type of metering setting you were using, possibly just a general over all metering, if there were bright lights involved that the cameras meter was picking up as it seems was the case, this would most certainly make your main image too dark. Better to use a, Center Weighted metering or even Spot metering to bring out critical detail.
