To those who do photo touching or other modifications, Photoshop CS5 is a must have.
I picked it up the other day and have been playing with it since. They added a bunch of new tools and improved most of the others. One biggie is content aware fill which is included in the link below.
The selection tools are vastly improved as well as the healing brush. Exciting stuff that literally saves hours if you are into photo retouching.
Here's an example done in just a couple of minutes. This is what a typical photomerge would look like with 2 photo's stitched. Usually the lost area would require you to crop the remaining image.
The 2 images are by Motley.
Here's the result literally after 1 minute of work including processing time. The result would require some minor work but it's mostly done.
Note the program actually built the clouds and the ground at the bottom. Neat stuff
You know, I was just thinking to myself that I need a Photoshop upgrade soon - I'm still rockin, 7. The program building the missing pieces of the image is pretty cool.....
cost for this software is crazy. i don't think i use PS anywhere near to justify paying money for it. i will upgrade, but only if i get free license again till then CS2 (once in two month time) it is.
