It's the weekend already! Holy smokes! Where does the time go.
I like the station shelter Steve, looks like you have a budding architect on your hands.
I have a busy weekend ahead of me, so I'm not sure I'll get any modelling done. I've been working on the Web Site for the Model RR Club I belong to. You can check it out at www.windsor-modular.com if you are interested.
First thing was a bit of train watching at one of our local station's, here pacific 6233 is passing through at around 45mph on a damp drizzley day
and later on tonight at 9.15pm returning through coppull in brighter conditions
and this is an almost new $3M yacht, anyone fancy it, one catch, you'll need a crane to get it out, a drunk halfwit got on during the night and set it alight they recon
I got the above flag at the local July 4th parade celebrating the United States' freedom. I went around the train room and the rest of the house to see what else was made in China.

Not only that, the flag itself was made in China. That is exactly how I recieved it too, I didn't do anything to it, either before I took the photo or in Photoshop. Pass it on......
Nice pics evryone, like the steam SteveB, I must check out the timetables and catch one myself soon.
Started a bit more interior details
sprinkler system, steel lockers along back wall and then built the starts of the adjoining low relief backscene building.
The weather here has brightened up so it might be an outdoor layout running session today
This weekend I went to a steamengine(s) show some miles from me but the crowd and traffic was soo dence I didn't make it till there so i went to a next stopping place where I could take picture more easely than at the overcrowded station(yard) where the "show" took place.
So I only have one steamloco for you "in the picture"
It is an "23" from the German Railways and the last one they designed(1956/58) and constructed before the dieselengines(era) take over their tasks. ..
Here is an idea lets have a 5 day weekend and 2 day week that way we could have more free time !! If only I could earn 5 days pay in 2 days !!
Thought I would post this last picture for the weekend, the tools have gone away, jobs to be done.
I have been doing the basic shells for the low relief back scene buildings, I think the next couple will be older brick building as it gets closer to the bridge.
This weekend I packed up all my trains....again...so I can move into my new house starting Tomorrow! The wife is even letting me have a good sized workshop in the basement. I have started to devlope some plans for a Free-Mo Module and as soon as I get them drawn up I will post them!
