i thought you guy might like to see my challenger and big boy
both are lightly dusted with a mix of dark gray,black and rust
just to kill the out of the box look.
i need to post a after dusting pic of the challenger

Is that a thumbprint on the tender of the Challenger? Did you seal the 'dust' with some dullcoat?
I wish I could remember to wash my hands thoroughly before handling my engines, but I never seem to. I have similar splotches on my engines.

the challenger was washed before painting,
that was the out of the box look i was trying to get rid of

I'm confused. The Big Boy has a really nice lightly weathered look. The Challenger appears to have never been weathered at all and has fingerprints on the shiny plastic. You say both are weathered but then I see you say you need to post a dusting pic after dusting. Did you post the wrong picture.
