This CNR doodle bug was painted about 15 or so years ago. The paint finish has held up very well and I still haven't had the nerve to weather it yet. It runs smoothly, but is noisy like the prototype. Note the lack of details in this brass piece compared to today's plastic and brass locos and diesels.
