Hi everyone,
Here's the track plan for my NYC Janesville HO double deck layout. Note it's a fictional branch of the New York Central. My wife's name is Jane. On the lower level tracks 1 and 2 can run continuous independently of each other or either one can take the helix to the upper deck. There's and extra route up and down from the helix using the Janeville S curve branch. You can run 4 trains without a problem. That being 2 trains following each other on tracks 1 and 2. You can switch the lower level yards without interference of the main line tracks. You can also switch the upper level yard if you don't drag cars out to the main line.
