NS Heritage Units

Smaller local roads have done that. The state of Connecticut DOT ran at least 1 ex New Haven FL9 in a fresh McGinnis era paint scheme. Brookville Locomotive has painted a few of their BL-20 rebuilds in what they imagined a New Haven scheme would look like today. Not a historic scheme but it pays tribute.

Dont forget that CDOT/MNCR also has some P32AC-DM in a McGinnis scheme.

Im sure you all saw this, but it looks like 10 of the 18 will be EMD and 8 will be GE.

In honor of NS electing to due the NYC Heritage paint scheme on an SD70ACe, I drew this up. From when I first read the announcement and saw NYC on the list, I was really hoping it would be adorned on an ACe, good to see thats how its going to happen.

NS says that the first unit should arrive in March and the fleet should be done for the roads 30th anniversary on June 1st, looking forward to them !

There are now 19 heritage units instead of 18. NS decided to do Penn Central after all.
