I would have settled on giving the NAVY a tad more -billing-.. being that my Dad served in WWII with a rank of LCDR!
Then again one can’t have everything.

Me too, but seems to umm contrived. If it has to be explained it doesn't really work. Perhaps a different unit for each branch of the service. Especially since there was no "Air Force" in 1943.
