Here are some interesting videos on the history of the Northern Pacific Railway. I know a number of people in this video. Waren McGee who passed away recently was a fellow I knew.

Growing up in Montana and having ridden the North Coast Limoted numerous times, these videos do bring back a lot of memories.

This video is the North Coast Limited headed eastbound out of Butte, MT over Pipeston Pass heading over Bozeman, Pass, (tunnel at the summit) and into Livingston, MT. My model railroad club is in the basement of the old NP depot in Livingston. From Livingston, the train goes through Billings where some CB&Q power is seen and then onto the badlands of North Dakota.

The next video is a bit older, showing of the older Pine Tree paint scheme which was used until the Northern Pacific changed their passenger trains to the Lowey paint scheme.
