No thumbnails and photos unopenable

Several weeks (months?) ago a number of my photos lost their thumbnails and are no longer openable, despite having been viewed hundreds of times before. I've queried the webmaster but had no response. Can anyone help with my problem?

Can you give us a link to a post that has this problem? Hard to tell without looking at the properties of the pictures.

we they posted directly (as .jpg attachments) or indirectly (as links to photobucket or the like)?

if as a link, if they got moved or deleted there, they won't work here.

Hi Isambard you have only 15 posts here so it didn't take much time to check them out. There were only a few that had thumbnails and they were visible and enlarged when clicked on. There was a link to another forum that didn't work, however that is not a fault at this end of the link.

You have photos in the Forum Album it also works fine.

Perhaps a better explaination of what is it that you are missing wouls be a big help if there is a problem.

You have photos in the Forum Album it also works fine.

As examples on the first page, looking at the three rows of photos and numbering left to right, the following ones appear only as "no thumbnail" and are unopenable (small x in upper left box):
1st row 4th photo posted 20 Jan 2008, 700 views
2nd row 2nd photo, posted 1 Oct 2007, 668 views
3rd row 1st photo, posted 3 June 2007, 880 views
3rd row 4th photo, posted 1 Oct 2007, 588 views

Hi Isambard, ok I see what you mean. Since you were last here there has been a lot of changes, including new software and new servers. During some of the upgrades as I recall, some members had similar problems to yours (some photos transferred over and some did not). I also recall that Admin rectified those problems as they were reported. I'll aquatint Bob with this problem, perhaps he may still be able to do something about it.
