Hi, new here, but would love to get back into the hobby. My family has boxes and boxes of old Lionel trains. :D

My family and I were walking around the fair today and got the idea to make a display of our favorite place to camp, Disney's Fort Wilderness. They used to have a train that ran a 3.1 mile loop around the campground.

Well my question is, has anyone ever made a 2-4-2 columbia style engine in o-guage?

Here is a picture of the train at the Fort, I would love to find an engine that I could modify to look similar.

Thanks for looking. :)

Thanks, I looked at their website and didn't see anything in the 2-4-2... any scale. :(

I would even be willing to find something similar and modify it to look the same.

Does not look like it would be that hard to kit bash in On30. Would make for a nice looking engine too.

You could kitbash almost any 2-4-0 or 0-4-0 tank engine but it would be some work. You have to understand that Disney had those engines specially constructed and it's a complete fantasy. No railroad ever had an engine that looked like that so kitbashing is the only way you're going to get a model of it.
