My recent project, ( superior bakery kitbash ) has been added to my layout so I thought it would be time for some pictures even though it's still under construction.

Very nice job. If I hadn't built about 10 of those Superior Bakery/Weeky Herald buildings over the years, I'd never guess where the kitbash came from. It's only that sidewall that gives it away. Those sidewalks look fantastic. What was your method for making those?

I can make miles of sidewalk for very little money. I used poster board. White poster board. I cut to size and score the lines with a small screw driver blade then they get painted with your favorite concrete color or color mix, as I like to do. A black Sharpie is run along the edge for curbing and a pencil is used to made crack lines. Weather it in places but not over the entire sidewalk. No real sidewalk looks the same everywhere unless it was just recently done.

Great work on the bakery and I have to agree that those sidewalks look great. Sounds like a pretty simple design for a good result too.
